On November 8, 2018, Citrin Cooperman presented its annual CEO Evolution at the Newark Museum in Newark, NJ, featuring Tom Tsivgas as part of a leadership panel. Tom had discussed some of the aspects of how he was able to develop and manage YBC through innovative ideas and unique programs.
Yesterday’s Business Computers (YBC) a leading global IT asset management firm, held it's second annual benefit on July 30, 2018 at the Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedmister NJ., to raise funds for childrem of our gallen soldiers. Keynote speaker, General David H. Petraeus, participanted in an interactive interview with Tom Tsivgas, President & CEO of YBC. Renowned Medal of Honor recipient and MSNBC military analyst, Jack Jacobs, was also in attendance along with a number of military heroes, state and local community leaders and numerous C-level executives from a host of Fortune 500 corporations. This event was hosted by YBC in an effort to generate support for the Children of Fallen Patriots foundation (www.fallenpatriots.org). In addition to honoring heroes of our military., YBC introduced its unique program through which YBC donates 50% of its net profits to the non-profit foundation for any new business signed on through this effort. On July 30, 2018, YBC will be sponsoring a military charity dinner event at the Fiddlers Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, NJ. The theme this year is “Around the World with David Petraeus”. For the past two years, YBC has partnered with the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, a charitable organization that provides college scholarships and educational counseling to children who have lost a military parent in the line of duty. We have developed a unique approach to generating new revenue for the foundation by donating 50% of our net profits from any new business brought on by this effort. During this event Tom Tsivgas, owner of YBC and 509th Airborne veteran, will be interviewing General David Petraeus about his military and leadership experiences over the course of his impressive career in US service, and he will be accompanied by a charming 100 year old WW2 airborne vet, a well-known former POW and Medal of Honor recipient, as well as a number of additional veteran and current public servants that support this important event and endeavor.

YBC is proud to announce we've moved our headquarters to a new facility. The 50,000 square foot building is located at 239 Homestead Road in Hillsborough, NJ. This new facility will help accommodate our recent global expansion by providing us with a much larger and more secure audit processing area and data-wiping lab. These expanded areas will increase our production capacities to over 250,000 serialized assets per year. The Grand Opening was held on Friday, June 28 2013. The celebration was attended by YBC customers, partners, local officials and Brian Kelly (formerly of the NY Giants). As an indicator of our steady growth this will mark our 7th move since the company was founded 19 years ago.

NJ Law now requires recycling of used computers. A state law that will force recycling of used computers went into effect on Jan 1, 2011. Officials are hoping to see the amount of e-waste recycled rise, from about 10 to 12 million pounds to 50 million pounds, the report said.
